From Birth to Before Career:
Real birth name of Billy Gibbons is "William Frederick Gibbons". He born on 16th December, 1949 (or 4th March 1950) at Houston, Texas, America(U.S.). Both birthdates have been given in the past. He had grown up at Houston.Billy formed his own first band (the Saints) when he was only 14 years old. Participating in on The Ed Sullivan Show where he discovered Elvis Presley, he impressed with rock and roll. He was keen at rock and roll bands and blues through local radio station. He was widely inspired by Jefferson Airplane, Jimi Hendrix and local Texas rock bands. Gibbon's team changed their band name to the moving sidewalks, launching album (Flash) in 1968. They make vol.2 version within a year, which receive attention to established local bands to Jimi Hendrix.

The Moving Sidewalks is psychedelic group created by Gibbons. It recorded some singles and one album, Flash. He was introduced by his fine skills to Jimi Hendrix. His band came to prominence opening for "The Jimi Hendrix Experience". "99th Floor" song penned by Gibbons gave huge influence on fellow Texans and pioneering psychedelic band "The 13th Floor Elevators".Billy Gibbons Formed ZZ TOP band in 1969:
